Our Worship Celebrations take place at 10:30 AM each Sunday in our Worship Center (at the North end of our building). You can visit the directions page to learn how to get to our church building.
At Neighborhood Church, we call our weekly service the "Worship Celebration."
Worship means "a statement of worth." Everything we do in life makes a statement about how highly we value God. It is our aim to express that we value God highly throughout our Worship Celebrations.
We call our time together a Celebration because we are thankful to God for all He is doing in our lives. In the midst of good times and bad, we know that "in all things God works for the good of those who love Him..." (Romans 8:28). The Bible tells us to "rejoice in the Lord always" (Philippians 4:4), so we celebrate together on a weekly basis.
Join us before the Worship Celebration to enjoy free coffee and tea. Once we get started, you'll find dynamic worship music interspersed with moments of meditating on God's Word. Typically our worship band will play around a half dozen modern worship songs along with a hymn or two. We vary musical styles. Some weeks are more of a pop/rock style, and others are more of an acoustic/folk style.
After celebrating God through worship music and reflection, we continue to worship by hearing a Bible-based sermon. You can hear some recent sermons by visiting the sermons page, where you can also subscribe to a weekly podcast.
Following the Worship Celebration, feel free to enjoy some more coffee and tea while you get to know some other people
Children are important to us at Neighborhood Church. We believe that children are not just the future of the church; they are a vital part of the church today. We provide a safe, fun environment for kids to learn about and worship God.
Neighborhood Tots is available for kids up through preschool age, starting before the service. Neighborhood Kids is available for elementary school age children. Our elementary schoolers stay with us during the first part of the service, and then are dismissed when it's time for them to get started. Every eighth week they remain with us in the main Worship Celebration.
For more info, visit the children's ministry page.
We use a map to convey what happens next in our church. Typically the first step in getting connected at Neighborhood Church is to Celebrate each week at 10:30 am.
The second step in our journey together as a church is to Accompany each other along the way. We do so through our home groups that meet on a weekly basis. We don't just come together to be stationary, but to accompany each other along our spiritual journey.
The third step we take together is to Serve, both in our church and outside of it. God has given each person skills, talents, gifts, and a unique personality. We each play an important part in our church and the world around us. We value finding ways to serve our church and the community around us.
